Why does my Tesla squeak or creak when I go over bumps or turn?
Tesla's are notorious for premature suspension wear. This is mainly due to the additional weight of the electric battery, which can weigh up to 1700 pounds alone. This added weight puts extra stress on suspension components and tires. Usually, the upper control arm ball joints are the first part to fail and start making noise. We usually replace these control arms with a heavy-duty part that will last longer than a Tesla part. Plus, we warranty this repair for three years for peace of mind!
